PROJECT BRIEF:
The notoriously informative but dense IBM white paper PDF was in need of a digital makeover. The white paper is an internal report or guide concisely addressing a complex issue. This white paper was about the clear benefits of agile development—better collaboration, incremental delivery, early error detection and the elimination of unnecessary work. Our project was to make the white paper interactive for a digital age.
ROLE:
My primary role was to oversee the visual design assets of the page. I made sure they adhered to brand guidelines and maintained the overall visual cohesiveness of the page.
PROCESS:
First, images were selected that aligned with each chapter of the white paper. Next, a background image was selected that maintained the readability of the text. IBM Plex font was used in accordance with brand guidelines and the overall page was iterated until visual consistency was achieved.
